CCICM has utilised the services of both the University’s Management Centre and the Careers and Employability Service. Each department has assisted in training and development as well as high quality recruitment. This has enabled CCICM to continue to provide the highest quality International Debt Collection service in the UK. In addition, the company will continue to work closely with the Language Centre at the University, who were hugely helpful in enabling CCICM to win a ‘Best Use of Foreign Language in Business Award 2013’.
“Having the assistance of Bangor University has been a great benefit in the ongoing development of our employees, assisting with recruiting multi-lingual staff and therefore helping us in establishing a worldwide program of compliance. This award is a well deserved acknowledgment of the fantastic resource we have on our doorstep. With Bangor University on hand and readily available, it is a great asset whether it’s being able to take benefit of training courses for the ongoing development of our employees or assisting with recruiting staff that are multi-lingual. We are the most recent winners of the Best Use of Foreign Language in Business Award, sponsored by CILT Cymru, awarded for our capabilities in using foreign language to trade on a day to day basis. We currently have 10 linguists on site but with the continued support of Bangor University anticipate this will increase by a further 20 over the coming 24 months.” Marketa Piecuchova, Recruitment and Training Officer, CCICM.
Carl Hackman, Director at CCICM Legal states “It’s great to see our local University working with local businesses to assist each other in developing our own objectives. This type of initiative should be more encouraged”
Dr Xinyu Wu, Director of the International Education Centre at Bangor University said: “I’m delighted to receive this Award on behalf of the University. It illustrates the many ways in which the University provides expertise, services and support to local, national and international businesses and companies.”
CCICM is looking forward to working with Bangor University further in the future and would like to formally congratulate them on winning “Supplier of the Year 2013”.
