From award nominations to award wins, from conference speaking to conference hosting, forging new partnerships and securing new business – here is our roundup of a highly successful year
CCI awarded first place in the Collection Accreditation Initiative (CAI) award
CCI were proud to announce that they were awarded first place in the Collection Accreditation Initiative (CAI) award. This award is given to a company where staff have achieved the highest rates of distinction scores (over 90%) in the CAI exams over the past 12 months. Competing against other CSA member companies, the exams assess an individual’s knowledge on Regulatory Compliance, CSA Code of Practice, Vulnerability Awareness, Consumer Duty, and Industry Best Practice. Carl Hackman, director of CCI, commented “this award is a recognition of the hard work and dedication of our collections teams. I would like to congratulate them and all others within the company who made it possible for us to win this award which is a reflection of how much we have invested in our workforce. Well done everybody.”
CCICM through to finals of major compliance awards
CCI were thrilled to be proud to be a finalist in the highly regarded 2024 ICA Compliance Awards. By reaching the finals of the 2024 ICA Compliance awards: Innovation in Regulatory Compliance Category, CCICM has been recognised for the innovation and global culture of compliance that underpin ICE. or the International Credit Exchange.
CCI Successfully Transition To The New ISO27001:2022 Standard
CCICM successfully maintained the ISO27001:2013 for 10 years, and are pleased to announce that we have successfully transitioned to the new ISO27001:2022 standard. The new standard includes updates that reflect modern practices within the business along with evolving threats. Key changes include: Enhanced controls, focusing on cloud security and data privacy; and Risk Management focus, where there is a greater emphasis on a risk based approach to information security.

CCICM and London Universities Purchasing Consortium
CCICM were proud to announce its place on the London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) debt collection framework. This framework is a recognised mechanism for the public sector procurement of debt collection services. Our place on the framework means that CCICM has reached the mandated standards for public sector bodies to procure our services with confidence and compliance.

The International Credit Exchange (ICE) Annual Conference 2024 – Warsaw
The conference featured ICE representative’s Tanya Sonko who addressed delegates with an update on the progress of the re-development of the ICE network, and Liam Worthington who gave a presentation on Sanctions. CCI’s representative Joe Marritt held an engaging talk on Mediation. Alongside an impressive line-up of speakers, including adv. Maria Muchin-Kresa, adv. Michal Rączkowski, Martyna Rzeczkowka, Peter Sorrentino, and Peter Wong. Care Show Birmingham 2024
CCI’s Carl Hackman, Joe Marritt and Forrest Lancaster headed to the NEC Birmingham in October to exhibit at the Care Show Birmingham 2024, the UK’s social care event of the year. The annual event is known for bringing together individuals, teams, and organisations dedicated to improving the quality of care in the UK. As a key player in the recovery of care home debt, CCICM is perfectly positioned to manage relationships between local government, NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), and the care home sector. Carl Hackman, Joe Marritt and Forrest Lancaster engaged with industry professionals and shared the debt collection expertise accrued over almost 40 years supporting the care and health sectors.
