A BRAVE group of women colleagues from CCI Credit Management (CCICM) Ltd have just completed a cancer research fundraising race in their local North Wales community.

CCI Joins Race For Life 2019 – Before The Race
Thirteen courageous female CCICM staff and their family members banded together on Sunday May 12th morning to tackle the 5k Race For Life with thousands of others in sunny, historic Caernarfon.
Whether walking or running the course – located in the shadow of world-renowned Caernarfon Castle – everyone felt a great sense of achievement at the finish line. They exceeded their sponsorship target of raising £700 for cancer research UK.
Impressive Youngster
CCICM Data Entry Administrator Amy Kerrigan completed the race in 26 minutes closely followed by Consumer Collections Manager Heulwen Jones. The youngest member of the team, one-year-old Nanw, impressively walked over the finish line with her mum, Nia Parry, in one hour 20 mins. Participant and Case Progression Officer Sophie Hindle says: “A massive ‘Da Iawn’ (that’s Welsh for ‘Well Done’) to everyone from CCICM who took part!

Tremendous Support
“We have all received tremendous support from family and friends and, as a result, have achieved our team fundraising target. Our final figure is yet to be confirmed due to cash sponsors, but the overall figure raised on the day by everyone involved locally was just over £24,000 – fantastic!
“This was a truly beautiful way of connecting with each other outside of our office work and was a great way to enjoy the sunshine. We are all looking forward to next year’s race!” Sophie added.
Race For Life 5k is a series of over 150 routes around the UK that give people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities the chance to come together and show cancer who’s boss!
