CCI Training Services can trace its roots back to 1987 and is widely recognised as one of the UK’s foremost providers of quality, bespoke training, and consultancy in all aspects of Credit Control, Debt Recovery and Related Law.
To date, we have welcomed in excess of 60,000 individual delegates on our public, hotel based and in-company courses. Courses are offered as ‘open public hotel based events’, where delegates come from a variety of organizations or are ‘industry specific’, where the course is open to a range of delegates, but only within a specified sector. Our Fees
CCI Training Services feel that all prospective customers should have complete peace of mind from the outset about what training or consultancy is likely to cost, so, our fees and discount structure are published on this website because they are ‘open-book’. What’s more, all fees are inclusive, so there are no nasty surprises or hidden extras to increase the cost.
In-House Bespoke Training
From £1,750 + VAT per day with discounts for bookings of more than 1 day.
There are special discounted in-company rates offered to Registered Social Landlords and Councils where the training is regarding the recovery of current and former tenant arrears – please ask for more information.
All fees include comprehensive delegate packs and for the hotel based courses lunch with wine and refreshments. We also include 12 months free of charge ongoing support after the training has taken place.
For larger projects involving a combination of training and consultancy, fees are negotiated on an individual ‘per contract’ basis. Please ask for further information.
These fees are based on courses which take place on the UK mainland and do not apply to courses elsewhere in Europe or throughout the world where fees are agreed on an individual basis per contract.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. We already do collections and debt recovery training ‘in-house’ so is there any point in using a firm like CCI Training Services?
This is a good question and one which is frequently asked. We are sure no single organisation would claim to have the monopoly on all there is to possibly know with regard to new methods, skills, and ideas when it comes to improving debt recovery and therefore we aim to work in partnership with you, building on the training you have already given and may be providing on an ongoing basis, to introduce additional, new, methods, skills and ideas.
Q. What size group should we train?
We are here to serve our clients and therefore do not dictate as to group size. Experience shows courses work well with as few as 5 people or as many as 25 people, but an ideal group size would be 12, thus ensuring all delegates derive maximum possible benefit.
Q. Where does training take place?
Our public, hotel based courses take place as a rolling programme at hotels in the majority of major cities in the UK. Bespoke in-house events can take place anywhere throughout the world that the Client chooses, though there may be an additional charge for courses outside the UK mainland.
Q. But our debtors are different?
It is because each of our clients’ needs are different that the in-house courses we offer are truly ‘bespoke’ training with the content written to your own unique needs and the problems your staff are facing right now. On the hotel based events the content is always packed with ideas and information to collect money quicker than ever before.
Q. Do we have industry regulation?
One of the unique aspects of the service we offer is that our training can be constructed to take into consideration the needs of any industry regulator so that the training provided is commensurate with any internal Codes of Practice and the requirements of an industry regulator.
Q. What makes you different from any other training provider?
This is a fair question and one which you ought to consider seriously. We have been providing training and consultancy in Credit Control, Debt Recovery and Related Law for over 25 years, and to date more than 60,000 delegates have been on a course written and presented by Mike Connolly. Q. Are the course fees negotiable?
Fees for the public, hotel based courses are highly competitive and not usually negotiable unless you need to send a group of 5 or more people in which case it will probably be better to speak to us about an in-house event. Fees for in-house courses are negotiable where 3 or more days training and consultancy are required and you should contact us for further information.
Q. What ‘core’ subjects would an average course include?
Each course has its own unique character and for public hotel based events the minimum we cover is shown in the course marketing material. All our in-house courses are prepared on an individual basis so the content is discussed and agreed with you based on where you are at present and where you want to go.
Q. How soon can we expect to see a benefit from the time and money invested?
This will depend on how quickly you start putting your new skills in to use but many clients report an immediate improvement in levels of cash collected and certainly within one or two weeks of the training taking place. The key thing for you to do is make sure people receive the training with an open mind and give us the benefit of the doubt as they give their new skills a try.
